With real-time measurement in your own app, customers see total consumption and load per phase. You get a service to offer, and the same readings underpin load balancing, power control, automation and control.

## The customer sees electricity as it is used

In Power App, the customer sees total consumption and how the load is distributed across the phases. Power Hub sends the readings to Power Flow so they appear in the app in real time.

## Real-time measurement comes with Power Hub

 Power Hub connects to the electricity meter and sends readings to Power Flow. You get real-time measurement as part of Power Flow, not as a separate metering solution on the side.

  ## When the readings also need to control charging

Real-time measurement shows electricity use in the home. Load balancing and power control use the same readings to adapt charging.

### Load balancing

Load balancing adjusts EV charging, for example, when other electricity use increases. That reduces the risk of the main fuse tripping.

### Power control

Power control follows the home's hourly average power and the customer's chosen limit. When the limit is at risk, the app can warn or reduce EV charging, for example.

## Measurement and power control in the same delivery

 Power Hub, load balancing and power control are included in Power Flow. Bitvis develops both the meter and the software that uses the readings. You therefore do not need to procure metering and power control as separate projects.
