Power control

# Help customers keep power under the limit

With power control in your own app, customers can set a limit for hourly average power and get help keeping it. You get a service to offer when power peaks and power tariffs become a bigger issue for customers.

## The customer sets the limit and action

In Power App, the customer sets a preferred maximum power per hour. If the limit risks being exceeded, Power Flow can reduce the charging current to a compatible charger, or send a notification.

## Power control comes with Power Hub

Load balancing protects against short-term peaks in load. Power control helps the customer keep the hourly average power below a chosen level.

## How load balancing and power control work together

Load balancing reacts to the load right now so the main fuse does not trip. Power control follows hourly average power and the customer's chosen limit. Together they cover both the moment and the hour in the same app.

 ## Make power control part of your offering

When more customers face power tariffs, showing consumption in a graph is not enough. With power control, the customer can set a limit for hourly average power and choose how the app should act as it approaches.

 ### An answer to power tariffs

You can offer customers help keeping hourly average power under a chosen limit and reducing the risk of high power peaks.

  ### The customer stays in control

The customer sets the limit and chooses whether charging should reduce automatically or whether the app should send a notification.

  ### Less to keep track of

If the customer chooses automatic control, charging is reduced when the household approaches the chosen limit. The customer does not need to follow the power while the car charges.
